International Volunteer HQ’s Alternative Break Scholarship in New Zealand, 2019

International Volunteer HQ is now accepting applications for Alternative Break Scholarship. This scholarship is available to anyone of any nationality who is over the age of 18 at the time of application.

An Alternative Break offers both individuals and groups the opportunity to support communities abroad as volunteers on specific social issues such as education, environmental, health and community projects.

International Volunteer HQ Limited is a New Zealand based volunteer travel company founded by Daniel John Radcliffe in 2007. the mission of the company is to change the face of volunteer travel.

  • Applications Deadline: February 11, 2019
  • Course Level: The scholarship is open to pursuing any degree level program.
  • Study Subject: The scholarship will be awarded in all subjects.
  • Scholarship Award: the Alternative Break Scholarship recipient receive:
    • 2-week volunteer or intern abroad program with International Volunteer HQ or Intern Abroad HQ in the destination of the recipients choice
    • Flight voucher (to the value of US$1000) from IVHQ Flights
    • Travel insurance up to the value of US$250 for the 2-week duration of the IVHQ Program
    • The ‘Certificate in International Volunteering’ online course from Global Travel Academy
  • Their all-inclusive programs provide volunteers and interns with comprehensive pre-departure support services and training, as well as in-country program orientation, accommodation, meals, and 24/7 support.
