(1). Chevening Scholarship : Of every UK scholarship available in my catalog here, I want to talk about the Chevening scholarship first. That should go to tell you that there is kinda something special about this particular one.
Maybe yeah, maybe nah. Lets Find out.
The Chevening scholarship is offered by the UK government itself for international students. The scholarship is almost limitless as it allows you as an international students to study in any recognized university in the UK and not just to study in any university, also to study any course of choice!
Isn’t that amazing?
While many available international scholarships out there are only for a selected number of schools and a only open for applicants who want to study some particular sort of courses , this one is open to every university and every course. Amazing.
There’s a lot of competition for this scholarship that it seems it doesnt work anymore because a greater percentage of the applicatnts end up not being accepted into the program. Maybe not because they are not qualified but because slots are all gone.
The Chevening Scholarhips program anyway still favours about 120 students yearly. Some of these students apply for this opportunity several years before getting in while some got in after their first or second trial or even on their first trial.

(2). The Commonwealth Masters Scholarship: Just like Chevening, this scholarship is only for master’s program and is also offered by the UK government. You should also know there’s a rush here too; but you still got a golden chance.
The commonwealth Scholarship by the UK government is one of the full scholarships for international students in uk. The scholarship provides funding for tuition fees, exam fees, airfare cover to and from the UK, a personal maintenance allowance, “initial arrival allowance” to cover extra costs in the first few days, exam fees and even a thesis grant if needed.
Though the airfare is just once for when you are going to the UK to start the program and once after you have completed the program. If you decide to travel back within the period of the program, you will have to take care of your flighfare by yourself.
This scholarship is provided by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and is open for application yearly. Only international students are eligible to apply.
NOTE: Eligble internatioal student must be from one of the commonwealth countries.
(3). Denys Holland Scholarship at University College London: This scholarship is offered by the University College London to only undergraduate international students and it’s only eligible for the courses offered in this University.
The scholarship is worth £9,000 which is given to successful applicants yearly for 3 years. There is a condition attached the yearly benefit anyway, the beneficiary is expected to maintain good academic level to continue receiving this scholarship.
To be eligible, you have to provide an offer of admission letter to prove that you’ve been admitted to undertake an undergraduate course in the university.
The university prefferably gives more attention to applicants below the age of 25 so if you are 25 and above, you have slimmer chances of being awarded this scholarship.
This scholarship is available yearly and application closes early July while classes begin by september.
(4). University of Westminster International Scholarships: This one of the fully funded scholarships in UK as it covers tuition, accommodation, flights to and from London and living expenses.
The scholarship is anyway not available for all international students but only to those from developing countries and it is only for Master’s degree programs eligible for all masters courses except MBAs.
The scholarship anyway is very competitive as it is only for first class honours students who need financial help and have applied and be accepted into the University to take a full-time postgraduate degree course as the applicant would be required to present his or her admission offer letter as a prove.
Application ends around middle of october yearly and courses begin in January.
(5). Developing Solutions Scholarships at University of Nottingham: The scholarship is eligible to applicants from developing commonwealth countries and is eligible for only Masters programs in the university.
The Faculties eligible for this scholarship include;
Faculty of Engineering
Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences
Faculty of Science
Faculty of Social Science
Programs outside these faculties are not eligible for the scholarship.
Students from Africa and India or any of the following commonwealth countries are eligible to apply;
Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Brunei, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Falkland Islands, Fiji, Gibraltar, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Kiribati, Malaysia, Maldives, Montserrat, Nauru, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, St Helena, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tristan da Cunha, Turks and Caicos Islands, Tuvalu, Vanuatu.
There are 105 available every year, with 30 covering the entire tuition cost and the other 75 subsidising it by 50 percent.
Application is open yearly and closes late April.
(6). Bristol University International Office Scholarships: The Bristol University International Scholarships is one of the full scholarships for international undergraduate and postgraduate students in uk. It open yearly and a total of 5 and above beneficiaries are selected every year.
The scholarship varies yearly both in number of beneficiaries and in cost which can be used towards tuition cost or any other fees.
The scholarship can be gotten for any full-time Undergraduate programme (except Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science) or any one-year, full-time taught postgraduate programme offered at the University.
The scholarship opens two rounds of application yearly which closes by 31 March 2019 and 30 June 2019 respectively.
(7). Edinburgh Global Research Scholarships: This would be the first PhD scholarship I will be featuring on this list of full tuition scholarships for international students in uk.
Majorly, this scholarship is featured here to give PhD students a sense of belonging as the scholarship is not truly full-tuition but a reduces the tuition of successful international applicants to the same price domestic students pay.
30 applicants will be selected in total and the opportunity is open for all the PhD field of study in the university.
Candidates with first class in their first degree are given major attention but those with second class offer are considered too.
Application closes early February yearly while classes start by september.
(8). Rhodes Scholarships at University of Oxford: A Rhodes Scholarship covers all University and College fees; the University application fee; a living stipend (£15,144 per annum); one economy class airfare to Oxford at the start of the scholarship and one economy flight back to the student’s home country at the conclusion of the scholarship.
The scholarship is said to be the oldest international scholarship program still in operation. The age limit for applying for this scholarship is 24 – 25.
Students from the countries listed below are eligle to apply;
Australia, Bermuda, Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Jamaica & the Commonwealth Caribbean, Kenya, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Southern Africa (including South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia and Swaziland), Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine (SJLP), United Arab Emirates, United States, West Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
(9). Gates Cambridge Scholarships: This program is also eligible to international applicants for postgraduate studies.
It covers all costs for successful applicants throughout their period of study.
